Day 1 is in the Bag!

Hey Yall!

It's another day and I'm alive!  Anyone wanna guess how my day went yesterday?  

It actually wasn't bad!  I spent the morning with my Momma and we ate lunch together.  I followed the plan and used my "Fab 5" products as directed and managed to have a pretty good day.  I did get "Hangry" one time, my kids requested Pringles as a snack in the car on the way to VBS.  I had to fight the reflex to grab a few off the top and cram them in my mouth.  Not because I was really hungry, but because it was is a bad habit. 

For some reason over the years I guess I've developed a "god complex" and always take my 10% when my kids require my assistance in opening something. "Oh, you want me to open those fruit snacks, let me grab a purple one out for me."  I have come to realize that I do it constantly and that reflex is one of the reasons I'm fat.  Seriously, how many calories have I been taking in with out even realizing it?  Don't ponder long, the answer is A LOT!  

So after having a pretty good day with only a minor attitude problem I managed to lose...

5 pounds y'all!

How easy was that!  I'm so excited and impressed, it just adds to my resolve and makes me want to keep going.  I can't wait to see were I am at the end of week 1.  Did I mention that my husband is out of town?  I am really hoping that it will be a noticeable enough difference to him since he isn't seeing me transform day by day this week.  However, I know that I have a substantial amount of weight to lose so even though five pounds is a super awesome start, I know I have a long road ahead of me.  So, if he doesn't notice I will try not to be offended ...bastard.

I'm keeping a food diary to help with my bad habit of putting things in my mouth and not remembering it.  I like for everything to be pretty all of the time and have a touch of OCD (legally medicated for it) so I made a printable chart that I'm willing to share with anyone else that may benefit from it.
